Reeled Steel Wool:

Our reels are made of a continuous ribbon of steel wool that is approx ½” thick, compactly wound onto a 4” wide cardboard core.

  • Choose from carbon steel or 434 stainless steel.
  • Each roll is made from superior quality raw materials that are specially produced for our steel wool to create improved fiber strength.
  • Stock reel sizes available are 5lb and 15 lb and custom made reels to your exact specifications upon request.
  • 5 lb reels are packed 5 per case (25 lbs/case) OD approx 13”
  • 15 lb reels are packed 4 per case (60 lbs/case) OD approx 19”
  • Carbon Steel Grade options: #0000, 000, 00, #0, #1, #2, #3 or #4
  • Stainless Steel Grades: Fine (50-80 µm) Medium (80-130 µm) Coarse (100-180 µm)
    

Steel Wool Hand Pads:

ISW Steel wool hand pads are packaged 16 per poly bag and packaged 12/case.

Choose from 8 grades of coarseness from ultra fine to very coarse for the toughest industrial jobs.

For buffing andcleaning.Buffs woodwork, shellac ,lacquer andvarnish (use with wax or oil.) Cleans windows without water or cleaners. Removerust from chrome with kerosene.

ExtraFine

For buffing,polishing, and removing. Buffs cabinetry and new wax finishes. polishes stainless steel, aluminum, copper,brass and zinc. Removes minor burns from wood and leather. Removespaint drips and splatters.

Fine

For buffing,cleaning, cutting, and removing.Buffs final finish on painted trim. Cleans golf clubs, screens and frames. Removes old finishes from antiques (use with finishremover).

Medium- Fine

For cleaning andremoving.Cleans barbecue grills,aluminum, copper, brass, zinc and other metals. Removes rust from metal tools (use with light oil for best results). Great for copper pipecleaning before soldering.

For cleaning andpreparing. Cleans linoleum, rubber asphalt, and other resilientfloors, automobile white side walls. Prepares wood for the first coat of paint and smoothsraised grain.

For cleaning andremoving. Cleans glass brick, rough metals or stonesurfaces. Removes rust and dirt fromgarden tools and machinery, scuff marks and old wax from floors. Removes varnish fromantiques with varnish remover.

For removing. Removes old paint and varnish also can be used to clean glass block andrestoring exterior woodwork. Also used to stuff holes to blockrodents.

Extra-Coarse

For cleaning andremoving. Removes the toughest rust, dirt, old paint and varnish. Can be used for cleaning engines. Notrecommended for high gloss surfaces or delicatefinishes.
