Construction:

Our Sunny-Metal DPF is constructed of a new generation of sintered metal fleece that is constructed with fibers rather than powders that are made from a special alloy of stainless steel to withstand high temperatures. With millions of square feet of our material already in the marketplace today, our material has been designed to withstand the high temperatures and extreme conditions demanded by diesel exhaust systems.

Unlike Ceramics, the Sun-Met DPF is versatile in that it can be packaged in virtually any dimension (round, square, rectangle, long, narrow) without concern to aspect ratio.
